KFL&A Public health is confirming that several patrons who tested positive for COVID-19 attended The Brass Pub, 403 Princess St., Kingston. The patrons tested positive after attending the bar.
Public Health is now recommending that individuals who attended The Brass Pub on Friday, April 2, between 4 p.m. and 9:00 p.m self monitor for symptoms.
“Individuals who develop symptoms should isolate immediately and get tested at one of our local assessment centres,” said Dr. Kieran Moore, Medical Officer of Health at KFL&A Public Health.
If you were affected by the exposure, KFL&A Public Health is recommending that patrons get tested after seven days or on April 9th respectively.
“As part of the COVID-19 case management and contact tracing process, KFL&A Public Health follows up with close contacts of individuals who have tested positive for COVID-19,” the statement said. “If the contact tracing team are unable to identify close contacts of an individual who has tested positive for COVID-19, a public release may be issued to reach those contacts.”
