Kingston Frontenac Public Library (KFPL) is offering a chance for first-time home buyers to gain insight from experts in the real estate market.
Local real estate agent Erin Gallagher and mortgage agent Melissa Forman will help would-be homebuyers navigate this life change during an online workshop on March 4 from 11 a.m.-noon.
KFPL says that those in attendance will gain valuable knowledge to help make informed decisions when purchasing their first home including getting pre-approved, incentives for first-time home buyers, finding the right home and putting in an offer.
“Kingston’s real estate market changed significantly during the pandemic, and first-time home ownership is intimidating at the best of times,” said Jake Miller, Librarian, Adult Programming.
“Buying a home is a significant investment and having the right information and guidance to make the best decisions is important. This event will give people the resources they need.”
The presentation is free to attend, and registration is required. Interested individuals can register by visiting https://calendar.kfpl.ca/event/7924312 or calling (613) 549-8888.
