Kingston, ON – Local charity Be Claus is partnering with Five Guys to host a Community Night fundraiser aimed at supporting children in need across Kingston. The event will take place Tuesday, May 13, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Five Guys restaurant located on Gardiners Road in the RioCan Centre.
For every burger, poutine, and milkshake sold during the evening, Five Guys will donate $1 directly to Be Claus. The funds raised will support the charity’s mission of delivering customized gifts and creative opportunities to children who need them most.
Be Claus is a registered charity rooted in Kingston. Known for its unique approach to charitable giving, the organization partners with local artisans and makers to craft one-of-a-kind, personalized gifts for each child. No two gifts are alike, and each is designed to make recipients feel special, seen, and celebrated.
Beyond gifting, Be Claus is working toward a larger vision: the creation of free workshops and makerspaces where children can learn hands-on skills, explore their creativity, and build confidence.
“We believe every child deserves to feel seen, valued, and celebrated,” said Adam Ellis, co-founder of Be Claus. “Through personalized gifts and empowering creative spaces, we aim to spark imagination and joy. We’re grateful to Five Guys for helping us further this mission in the community.”
Residents are encouraged to stop by on May 13, enjoy a meal, and support Be Claus’s work. Each order of a burger, poutine, or milkshake will go a long way in helping bring joy and opportunity to children across the city.
