Tim Hortons to offer free beverages to veterans and Canadian Forces members on November 11th

Tim Hortons has announced that it will be offering free hot beverages to veterans and Canadian Armed Forces members on Remembrance Day. The announcement came in a News release on November 2nd.

In order to be eligible, the veteran or Canadian Armed forces in uniform member will need to provide appropriate identification. They will then have the choice to receive any sized hot beverage of their choice. This includes coffee, tea, hot chocolate, French Vanilla, Latte, Americano or Cappuccino.

“We pause every year to remember and honour the contributions and sacrifices made by those who have served Canada in times of war and peace,” said Axel Schwan, president of Tim Hortons Canada and Americas.

As has been traditional for several years, they will also support the Royal Canadian Legion by making a poppy pin available for customers with a donation.

“From all of us at Tim Hortons, we give our sincere thanks to Canada’s veterans and Canadian Armed Forces members for their invaluable contributions to our great country,” the statement said.
