KFL&A Public Health is asking the public to monitor for symptoms of COVID-19 if they were at Lone Star Texas Grill Restaurant between 6pm and 8pm on March 13th. The announcement comes on the same day that an exposure at Miss Bao Restaurant was announced.
If individuals develop symptoms, public health is asking those affected to immediately get tested. “Individuals who develop symptoms should isolate immediately and get tested at one of our local assessment centres,” said Dr. Kieran Moore on Thursday.
KFL&A Public Health also recommends that individuals affected by this exposure get tested on March 20th, 2021, which is 7 days from the exposure date.
Contact tracing is still ongoing for this exposure. “As part of the COVID-19 case management and contact tracing process, KFL&A Public Health follows up with close contacts of individuals who have tested positive for COVID-19,” said Dr. Moore. “If the contact tracing team are unable to identify close contacts of an individual who has tested positive for COVID-19, a public release may be issued to reach those contacts”
