Megabus moving Toronto stop to Union Station Bus Terminal

Megabus has announced that it will be relocating to the Union Station Bus Terminal, effective June 8th. The announcement comes as Greyhound exits the Canadian market permanently. 

“Megabus.com is committed to bringing you better service, and we’ve got big plans for Toronto,” wrote Coach Canada in a letter to riders. “We’re moving our Toronto stop to the new Union Station Bus Terminal, located at the corner of Bay Street and Lakeshore Boulevard”

The company is hoping offer added services such as washrooms, on-site parking and a pedestrian bridge over Bay street.

Earlier this month, Megabus also announced that it would be expanding to Ottawa from the from the Toronto-Kingston corridor.

The carrier has assured riders that the Toronto-Kingston-Montreal and Toronto-Niagara Falls routes continue to operate throughout the pandemic and is “fully committed” to continuing those routes.

The Toronto Megabus terminal was previously located at the Greyhound Terminal on Toronto’s Bay Street.Once the move is complete, the former 610 Bay Street location will no longer be in use.
