Nominations open for 2021 Sustainable Kingston Awards

(Kingston, ON) Sustainable Kingston will once again recognize those in our community who have enhanced the livability and resiliency of Kingston through the 2021 Sustainable Kingston  Awards.  

Kingston residents are encouraged to visit www.sustainablekingston.com/nominations to nominate a deserving individual or organization for the following awards: 

• Youth Sustainability Champion. An individual 25 years of age or younger (as of  December 31, 2020) who has made an impact in sustainability in 2020 through to the present.  

• Sustainability Champion: An individual over the age of 25 who has made an impact in sustainability in 2020 through to the present.  

• Innovation Award: a business or organization that has implemented innovative initiatives to reduce their own carbon footprint or contribute to a culture of sustainability in their community.  

Other awards include the Greatest Overall GHG Reduction Award and the Greatest Percentage  Reduction of GHG Award. Organizations belonging to the sustainably eco-program are eligible for these awards.
