(Kingston, ON) Sustainable Kingston will once again recognize those in our community who have enhanced the livability and resiliency of Kingston through the 2021 Sustainable Kingston  Awards. Â
Kingston residents are encouraged to visit www.sustainablekingston.com/nominations to nominate a deserving individual or organization for the following awards:Â
• Youth Sustainability Champion. An individual 25 years of age or younger (as of  December 31, 2020) who has made an impact in sustainability in 2020 through to the present. Â
• Sustainability Champion: An individual over the age of 25 who has made an impact in sustainability in 2020 through to the present. Â
• Innovation Award: a business or organization that has implemented innovative initiatives to reduce their own carbon footprint or contribute to a culture of sustainability in their community. Â
Other awards include the Greatest Overall GHG Reduction Award and the Greatest Percentage  Reduction of GHG Award. Organizations belonging to the sustainably eco-program are eligible for these awards. Â
