Kingston Economic Development partners with local libraries to provide business resources to community

Kicking off 2024 programming, Kingston Economic Development and Kingston Frontenac Public Library (KFPL) have partnered up to bring business resources to the Kingston community.

Their new programming includes a series of monthly business-related workshops designed for a variety of audiences and a “Business Book Club,” which consists of a collection of books chosen by members of the Kingston Economic Development team each month. This month’s picks include The Seven Habits Of Highly Effective People by Stephen R. Covey and Kiss that Frog by by Christina Tracy Stein and Brian Tracy.

“At the heart of our collaboration with Kingston Economic Development is a commitment to the well-being and growth of individuals in our community. This partnership means expanded access to knowledge, skills development, and innovative spaces,” says Laura Carter, CEO of KFPL.

More information about the library’s business section is available on KFPL’s website. More information on the workshops can be found at investkingston.ca/events
