On Tuesday, parents were informed that someone had tested positive for Covid-19 at Holy Cross Secondary School, which is part of the Algonquin & Lakeshore Catholic District School Board. On Sunday, three cases within the ALCDSB tested positive for COVID-19.
The school is remaining open for the time being. More information can be found on the KFLAPH website to learn about return to school procedures.
“The school will clean and disinfect all areas in the school where the individual may have been, and will work with KFL&A Public Health to develop a plan to protect all members of the school community to prevent the spread of COVID-19.”
There are now 4 of COVID-19 within ALCDSB.
