St. Lawrence College has confirmed that a student on their Kingston campus has tested positive for COVID-19. This is the first positive case for the Kingston campus.
According to a press release, the student was last on campus on November 2nd. The college continues to work with public health to follow up with the students contraction.
Following established protocols, SLC continues to work closely with the Kingston, Frontenac and Lennox & Addington Health Unit (KFL&A Public Health). Individuals who have been in close contact with the affected person and are deemed at risk are being notified by KFL&A Public Health directly,” the statement from SLC said.
Other St.Lawrence College campus have been affected by COVID-19 in recent months. The school announced that a brockville student tested positive on October 16th and two 2 cases have been confirmed on their cornwall campus.
