It was announced on Tuesday that Air Canada, in partnership with ground transportation company Landline, is launching a service to bring passengers from Kingston’s Norman Rogers Airport to Toronto Pearson International Airport via a motorcoach service.

The service, which launches September 23, will allow travellers to book a single itinerary on Air Canada’s website, provide checked baggage transfers, and coordinate schedules.

Two round trips will run daily, with the bus having space for 36 passengers.

“There have been calls for this from the community. … and I get a lot of questions about when we are getting service back…,” Councillor Wendy Stephen stated in an interview with CFRC. “…I think this is a huge win for our community.”
