On December 4th, Metro Ontario was notified that an employee tested positive for COVID-19 at its Napanee location. The Metro is located at 35 Alkenbrack St and will undergo a deep clean and sanitation, as stated on their website.
“We will always contact and follow the guidance of Public Health to ensure the safety of our teammates and customers whenever we are made aware of a confirmed case of COVID-19 in one of our food stores or distribution centres,” Metro says on their website.
According to their website, the employee was last at work on December 2nd. After being publicized, the news was shared over 200 times on social media.
As of December 6th, there are 53 active COVID-19 cases within the KFLA community.
