Confirmed COVID-19 Case at Walmart Supercentre

KFL&A Public health has confirmed a positive COVID-19 case Walmart Supercentre on 1130 Midland Ave. According to the press release, public health has been unable to contact all customers who may have been exposed.

Public Health is now asking customers who were shopping in the Walmart location on Saturday, Apr 3, 2021, between 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. to self-monitor for symptoms of COVID-19.

“As part of the COVID-19 case management and contact tracing process, KFL&A Public Health follows up with close contacts of individuals who have tested positive for COVID-19,” the statement said. “If the contact tracing team are unable to identify close contacts of an individual who has tested positive for COVID-19, a public release may be issued to reach those contacts.”
